Tamko Introduces Floor Shield Temporary Concrete protection

Tamko Building Products Inc. introduced Floor Shield, a rolled product made up of polyester fibers and resin designed to be used as a temporary floor protection for curing concrete. Floor Shield joins Tamko’s full line of waterproofing products.

“Floor Shield enables the contractor to conveniently protect a concrete surface from other trades during the curing process until completion of the project,” said Tamko’s Corporate Director of Waterproofing, Erik Flick. “We are very excited about the Floor Shield product as it helps us round out our family of waterproofing products.”

The porous design of Floor Shield means that it does not trap moisture so dampness passes through the polyester fibers and resin making it an ideal product for temporary protection of cured concrete.

Floor Shield is produced in 1,000 square foot rolls and is being manufactured at Tamko’s plant in Columbus, Kansas. The product is available now and can be ordered nationwide. To learn more about Floor Shield, visit www.tamkowaterproofing.com.
