CSDA Builds On 6,000 Graduates – Opens Registration for Next Classes

The Concrete Sawing & Drilling Association (CSDA) announced a packed fall/winter 2018/19 training and certification schedule, with six hands-on courses planned at St. Petersburg College in beautiful Clearwater, Florida. Several additional training courses will be available in Las Vegas during World of Concrete 2019.

CSDA has scheduled a series of hands-on comprehensive introductory classes geared toward anyone wishing to expand their knowledge of cutting disciplines. They are followed by a series of advanced Operator Certification courses designed for experienced operators looking to gain proficiency in sawing and drilling techniques. Finally, WOC will provide a venue for additional training on concrete polishing, GPR and estimating. The schedule is as follows:

Nov. 7-8, 2018 – Wall & Hand Sawing 201 Certification – Clearwater, Florida

Nov. 9, 2018 – Wire Sawing 201 Certification – Clearwater, Florida

Jan. 22-23, 2019 – Concrete Polishing – Las Vegas, Nevada

Jan. 22-23, 2019 – Estimating Course – Las Vegas, Nevada

Jan. 24, 2019 – GPR Methods & Theory – Las Vegas, Nevada

Jan. 24, 2019 – Testing Methods for Concrete Polished Floors – Las Vegas, Nevada

As part of its Train More Save More program, the association offers large discounts to companies that send multiple operators to sawing and drilling courses. CSDA also has an online training website consisting of 27 courses available via www.csdatraining.com.

“Since its launch in 1995, the CSDA Training Program has had over 6,000 graduates and over the past couple of years we have seen course participation grow across the board. An increasing number of companies are once again feeling financially confident enough to invest in industry training, which not only improves efficiency, safety and productivity but raises the professionalism of the whole industry,” says CSDA Lead Instructor Rick Norland.
