Milwaukee Launches Heated Gloves Built to Survive the Jobsite and Beyond
This fall Milwaukee Tool will launch the first heated gloves designed to survive the jobsite and outlast the elements – the new USB Rechargeable Heated Gloves. Powered by rechargeable RedLithium battery technology, the new gloves heat on-demand, providing up to 6 hours of run-time. Built to be worn both on and off the jobsite, the gloves are also designed with features to improve overall dexterity and mobility.
“At Milwaukee we understand that trade professionals are expected to work in some very tough conditions, cold weather being one of the most inclement. This is why we’ve been leading the industry in heated jobsite work gear ever since the introduction of our M12 Heated Gear* in 2010, and we’re now introducing our first ever heated accessory,” said Kaue Cavalcante, Product Manager for Milwaukee Tool. “Our new USB Rechargeable Heated Gloves are a first for the industry, offering high-performance in trade applications and providing an improved experience when compared to the heated glove offerings used in other industries as well.”
Powered by RedLithium USB**, these gloves feature 3 heat settings (Low, Medium, High) and fully heat up in just 2.5 minutes. Users will experience up to 6 hours of continuous run-time, with heat extending to the fingers and back of the hands.
Existing heated glove offerings and jobsite winter gloves lack the durability to stand up to the harsh conditions of the jobsite, which is why Milwaukee constructed the USB Rechargeable Heated Gloves with GridIron Ripstop Polyester, making them 3X more durable against tearing and abrasion. This lightweight polyester also makes them 25% lighter for maximum mobility, as well as wind and water resistant. For extra dexterity and durability, the palms and fingers are 100% leather. An extended cuff also works to keep debris, water, and snow out of the glove and easily pulls over jacket sleeves.
As touchscreen smartphones and tablets have become more prevalent on jobsites, the need for tech-compatible gloves is an absolute must. To address this issue, these new gloves also include SmartSwipe on the index fingers which permits the use of touch screen devices without removing gloves.
Milwaukee is committed to delivering high-performance gear built to handle the specific demands of the trades. The USB Rechargeable Heated Gloves provide the versatility, durability, utility and overall comfort for use in cold conditions and all outdoor environments.
* Milwaukee Heated Gear: Powered by M12 RedLithium Battery Technology, Milwaukee Heated Gear distributes heat across core body areas. Durable carbon fiber heating elements woven in between rugged exterior materials and thermal insulating liners generate and maintain heat to reduce the need for bulky layers. Three heat settings (High, Medium, Low) allow the user to select the right amount of warmth for all weather conditions. All M12 Heated Jackets, Hoodies and Hand Warmers are fully machine washable and dryable for extended use.
**RedLithium USB: The Milwaukee RedLithium USB Battery powers Milwaukee USB Rechargeable products. The RedLithium USB Battery delivers more runtime, longer life, and faster charging. Each battery has 2X more capacity than three AAA Alkaline batteries and can be charged over 2,000 times, eliminating the need for disposable batteries with over 2,000 charges for longer life. The Milwaukee RedLithium USB Battery is covered by a 2 year warranty.
